Hello, welcome to Eur-Am's Bernese Mountain Dog Website. We call ourselves Eur-Am because we raise dogs from European bloodlines in America. I myself come from Germany where we called these wonderful dogs Berner Sennenhunde.

We are located in the Red Rock area about 40 miles north of Reno, Nevada.

The dog in our logo is AKC/CKC Ch. Samuel vom Steinhof, better know to his friends as Willie. Willie is our foundation stud dog. He has earned honors from the BMDCA as a Top Sire of Conformation Dogs and a Top Sire of Working Dogs. At 7 years old, Willie is now retired as a stud dog, but his strong orthopedics and his gentle and willing nature have been passed on to his offspring. Willie's grandson Ch. Pinnacle's Evans in Route CD NDD (sired by Ch. Eur-Am's Enough Already DD BNDD NA) was Best of Breed at the 1999 National Specialty in Tucson, Az. Willie's granddaughter Ch. Lorien Dell's Luthien Tinuviel (out of Ch. Eur-Am's My Katja CD) was Best of Winners at the 2001 National Specialty in Spokane, Wa.
