This is Am/Can.
Ch. Samuel vom Steinhof. He is known to
his friends as "Willie". He is the alpha male of the
group. He rules with experience and compassion rather than brute
force. Willie is a BMDCA Top Conformation Sire as well as a Top
Working Dog Sire.
Willie has now been retired as a stud dog,
but his great orthopedics, desire to work and his gentle nature
live on in his offspring.

This is Quadella
vom Steinhof. We call her "Greta".
We don't have a lot of pictures of Greta, but we think this one
is superb. It captures her spirit and her beauty. Greta is 8
years old and is no longer breeding. She is the mother of Ch.
Eur-Am's Enough Already DD NBDD (Ready) who at the age of 5 is
already a Top Producer of Conformation and Working Dogs and the
father of Ch. Pinnacle's Evans en Route who was Best of Breed
at the 1999 BMDCA National Specialty.
Ready and another Greta boy, Chase(Ch. Eur-Am's
Bitious CD NDD NBDD), are shown on the Bernese Mountain Dog edition
of Animal Planet's "Breed All About It" earning their
Novice Brace Drafting title with Ready's mom Val Horney. (They
are the only dogs shown pulling as a pair at the Colorado Draft
Test)

This is Ch. Eur-Am's
Hanselmann. He is Willie's son out of
Malaika von den roten Eichen He is a very handsome and athletic
dog who finished his championship very quickly. He is second
in command at our house. He generally patrols the property during
the day and comes in every so often to cuddle. Usually the first
thing he does is to give Willie a lick on the nose as he reports
back in. Everyone who meets Hansi falls in love with him.
Hansi is our primary stud dog now that Willie
has retired. His hips are GDC-Excellent (he has one of the lowest
pennHip scores of any berner ever measured), clear elbows and
has CERFed clear.

is the result of a group effort between myself and Phil and Susan
Henderson of Enzian BMD's. She was the pick bitch of a very nice
litter. She has fabulous structure and if she develops as we
think she will, she could have a very nice show career. At the
age of 20 months she picked up 3 major wins in one weekend and
now has 11 championship points. |
